LFM Software, an AVEVA Groupcompany, announced today that it is launching new laser software products atSPAR International 2013, taking place 15-18 April in Colorado Springs, USA.The new release of LFM Server has enhanced functionality to enable offline datareviews and overall project time savings. The new LFM Operating Modes coversscan preparation, registration, LFM Server dataset and LFM NetView projectgeneration. LFM software can now integrate the upfront laser scan datapreparation tasks into a simpleworkflow that enables maximum productivity and flexibility.

Alongside the directintegration with AVEVA Everything3D forthe plant market, the new LFM Server also includes a completely redesignedoptional CAD link module for AEC andBIM projects. The connection to Autodesk’s Revit 2013 allows designers towork with massive laser scan datasets in their familiar design package. Itsupports rapid volume selection and the ability to look at the BIM model in the3D BubbleView. This new module complements existing links to AutoDesk andBentley products.
