John Connelly, PE, has joined the civil infrastructure team at Merrick & Company (www.merrick.com
) as a project engineer. “We’re excited to have John join our team. In his new position, John will help us continue our growth in the infrastructure market sector,” said Michael Martin, PE, CFM, LEED AP, Project Manager with Merrick, “John’s experience and reputation in the land development, transportation and public works sectors is outstanding and a great asset to Merrick,” added Leonard Wilson, PE, Civil Infrastructure Director.
Connelly will contribute to Merrick’s public works and land development expertise throughout the Western United States. He offers more than 15 years in consulting, design, and management in the civil engineering environment. Prior to joining Merrick, Connelly was project manager in the transportation market sector for Michael Baker Corporation, where he served as lead engineer on roadway, drainage, and utility projects along the Front Range and Rocky Mountains of Colorado. His latest project highlight was performing as the roadway lead for the Wadsworth/US 36 interchange on the US 36 design build project with the Ames/Granite joint venture team. Connelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Ohio University in Athens, OH.
