JQ, one of Texas’ top structural and civil engineering and surveying firms, announced today that Scott Bacak, RPLS, has joined the firm as Survey Manager in its Dallas office.
Bacak has over 20 years experience as a land surveyor and has extensive experience with ALTA/ACSM, boundary, topographic, as-built surveys and construction layout. Bacak has lead team members and managed public and private development projects and field personnel utilizing numerous surveying technologies, such as GPS (Trimble, Leica, Topcon) and Auto-CAD Land Desktop. His experience includes working on Planned Community Developments, commercial developments, as well as multi-family developments in the North Texas and Conroe areas, and as-built and control surveys for the cities of Plano and Richardson.

Bacak is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in Texas and a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Tyler where he majored in Industrial Technology with an emphasis in Surveying and Mapping.
