Hi, hoping someone may be able to steer me. I am a landowner that just had a neighboring property owner do a survey and the marker has been set at N 48 degrees, 06 minutes, 49.7 seconds according to my Garmin GPS 72.  I am trying to find out what my GPS should read exactly 475 feet south of that latitude to mark my south line as well. I have seen the converters online but so far none have helped me due to the small measurement. thanks in advance if anyone can help, Scott

You are mixing apples and peaches.  First 0.7 seconds would only be within 12 +/- feet of the True Position of the marker.  Your best bet, is to use a measuring tape for the 475 additional feet.  Better, yet, hire a real Professional Surveyor with the right equipment and do the work correctly.
