I am a Land Surveyor. I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I recently bought a Beetle 20005 produced by Precision International Inc., Tullahoma, Tennessee.
It belonged to and old surveyor who died many years ago and his family sold many survey gear. I bought it because I like old instruments
It seems to be perfect but the Beetle comes without the user manual. I tried to find it on the Internet but, to my surprise, I couldn´t find it.
I looked for the Precision International e-mail, but I´m afraid that this company is no more operating because there is no e-mail address in the Web. I read that Super Beetle was buyed by Nikon many years ago.
I would very much appreciate if anyone can help me with this search (by means of sending a manual in pdf or giving data on what Web sites is probably to find it)
Excuse my English. I lost the practice!!!

I used a "Beetle" in the year 1976. It made a strange noise when it measured the distances.
Does yours do the same thing? I wish I could help with the manual. I will try some research and get back to you if I find anything.

Yes, the Beetle makes the same noise "tac" "tac" that an old Geo Fennel that I used long time ago. It seems to be like the sound of a relay.
