Really off-topic question, and one i'm not entirely sure which thread to put under. A few years back, the PS Magazine store had some poster prints of a civil survey crew doing work on the Washington Monument (I believe, it's been awhile). I would love to get a lead on where i may might be able to track down those prints - should of ordered one when i could of i guess.
Anybody out there offer any help or suggestions?

I'm the managing editor here but I wasn't when we sold those prints. I'll as some old-timers about it and get back with you.

Well, it turns out we printed those one at a time as they were ordered, and we don't have a single one left in the office. I'm sorry!
I could find out if we have any PDFs we could send you if you wanted to arrange printing yourself, but that would probably be quite expensive. I think that's why we stopped printing them: unless you print posters in large quantities they're just too darned costly to do a few at a time.

| Again, my thanks for pursuing this Shelly. I would be interested if any pdfs remained - even if the image was solely digital, it would make a nice desktop! Let me know what would be involved in pursuing a pdf copy if any copies do remain, elsewise, thanks again for your help!

Bad news - not only do we not have any pdfs handy, but the permission deadline has expired for us to use the images.
Maybe a reader from the past still has a print though? Perhaps you could post this request again if it gets a little buried, asking readers directly if anyone knows anyone with one of these prints.
