Hi, hoping someone may be able to steer me. I am a landowner that just had a neighboring property owner do a survey and the marker has been set at N 48 degrees, 06 minutes, 49.7 seconds according to my Garmin GPS 72. I am trying to find out what my GPS should read exactly 475 feet south of that latitude to mark my south line as well. I have seen the converters online but so far none have helped me due to the small measurement. thanks in advance if anyone can help, Scott

| You are mixing apples and peaches. First 0.7 seconds would only be within 12 +/- feet of the True Position of the marker. Your best bet, is to use a measuring tape for the 475 additional feet. Better, yet, hire a real Professional Surveyor with the right equipment and do the work correctly. D.E. TOBIAS |
