         Hello all, I am preparing to retake my Mt. PLS exam in April, and this may sound way off course but,......can any of you all tell me some of the formulas for horizontal curve resolution? I am writing a program for the HP50 that will allow you to enter any 2 of the main components, the missing one being degree of curve. I am lacking a few and developing ulcers looking for and/or trying to derive my own formulas. Any reply appreciated, thanks

DEGREE OF CURVE= 5729.58/R
TANGENT=RTAN(I/2) :I= INTERSECTION ANGLE BETWEEN TANGENT
L=R*I*PI/180           :PI=3.1416
LC=2*R*SIN(I/2)
M=R{1-COS(I/2)}
E=R{1/COS(I/2)-1}
